Author Biography

  • Vera Lúcia Salazar Pessôa, UFU

    Possui graduação em Geografia pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Uberlândia (1974), especialização em Geografia Humana pela PUC/Minas(1977), mestrado em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1982) e doutorado em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1989). Foi professora titular do Programa de Pós Graduação em Geografia/UFG/Regional Catalão de 2009 a 2016. Foi professora do PPGEO/UFU de 1997 a 2012. Professora colaboradora do PPGEO/UEG/Cidade de Goias desde 2019. Tem experiência na área de Geografia, com ênfase em Geografia Agrária, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: assentamentos, reforma agrária ,conflitos de terra, meio técnico-científico-informacional, modernização da agricultura, políticas públicas, agricultura familiar/agricultura camponesa. Outra área de atuação é Metodologia Científica com ênfase para a pesquisa qualitativa.
