Welcome to the ReDiS virtual environment.

ReDiS - Journal of Social and Environmental Law (UEG) is an academic publication started in 2021, linked to the UEG Law School. The need to foster scientifically qualified debate in the legal academic environment is the basis on which the journal was founded. It aims to reach the society, encouraging professors and students to (re)think the role of public universities.

In order to be an instrument for spreading academic community's research activities, it will provide free access, blind peer review, biannual periodicity and thematic dossiers (between one or two per year).

The journal's theme is consolidated in a critical and interdisciplinary view of the Law, beyond its dogmatic aspect, discussing the relationships between humankind, their institutions and nature. Researches that assess public policies and government agendas for the achievement of fundamental rights are also appreciated.

Thus, REDIS will contribute to verticalize the debate over social and environmental law by making relevant research public and by expanding the analysis of reality from a plural perspective.

The journal receives articles in a continuous flow, favoring the rapid dissemination of research. Everyone is invited to contribute.

Thank you,

Editors - ReDiS
