Roses, Margaridas and the fighting cultivation: narratives of women from the Padre Nilo Scur rural settlement, in the municipality of Iporá, in Goiás - Brazil

Abstract

Agrarian reform, the struggle for land, is a political, social and economic process, but slow and forgotten in Brazil. From the active land, the agrarian reform and through the Brazilian territory counts on an active and courageous participation of the women in the field, without land, militants, encamped and favored by the policies of agrarian reform. Thus, the main one is understood as a meaningless gender discussion, evidencing the female protagonism without a process of struggle for land and agrarian reform, and bringing as life stories of those settled in the settlement of Padre Nilo Scur, in the municipality of Iporá, in Goiás from visits, exchanges of dialogues and knowledge, it was possible to hear narratives of struggle, dreams, dramas and achievements carried out by these peasant women. Finally, one can no doubt perceive women as conquered by the right to be women, as those who dominate many centuries, and deserve due to recognition. With this process of female protagonism, the concept of deconstruction socially imposed on the role of women in society, which for a long time, is only the role of the mother, housewife. The attention to women represents a rupture with the patriarchal vision imposed for a long time, passing through a naive conscience to a critical.
