ATUAÇÃO DO FISIOTERAPEUTA DO TRABALHO PELO OLHAR DE TRABALHADORES USUÁRIOS DE TERMINAIS DE COMPUTADOR

INTRODUCTION: The insertion of computers in work environments has caused health problems in its users. Given this, physiotherapists are increasingly required to prevent and treat diseases and improve the worker's quality of life. OBJECTIVE: To present the results of a physical therapy intervention through the perception of workers using computer terminals. METHODS: cross-sectional, quali-quantitative study, carried out with 55 workers from a cosmetics industry. Steps: 1) Application of the sociodemographic, Nordic musculoskeletal questionnaire, QVS – 80 and Couto's checklist, with subsequent execution of the physical therapy intervention; 2) Conducting semi-structured interviews. RESULTS: The collected data were divided into 5 categories: 1) Physiotherapeutic performance: it was considered good, generated relaxation and relaxation, stimulated self-care; 2) Health and Quality of Life: reduced bodily pain and sedentary lifestyle, improved posture and sleep; 3) Work activities: they became safer and more ergonomic, stress and fatigue were reduced, the adoption of breaks was encouraged; 4) Daily activities: improved disposition and body posture while doing them and 5) Suggestions: continuation and expansion of physiotherapy. CONCLUSION: The work of the physiotherapist was seen in a positive way by the workers, as it generated good results in terms of health and quality of life, in work and daily activities, suggesting its continuation and expansion in the Industry.
