CREATION OF THE E-BOOK ‘MAIN HEALTH CONDITIONS OF AT-RISK INFANTS - GUIDE FOR PARENTS’: EXPERIENCE REPORT

the article aims to report the experience of creating an educational e-book aimed at parents of at-risk infants. The material seeks to provide information of the neurological, repiratory and orthopedic conditions that effect theses infants, and the importance of physiotherapy in improving the quality of life of these conditions. the material was prepared through exploratory research with a bibliographic review in scientific databases such as PubMed and Scielo, in addition to organizing the information in a structured booklet for the creation of the material. The e-book has become an essential educational resource, helping parents care for at-risk infants and bringing knowledge to undergraduate physiotherapy students. The dissemination of the material by the Universidade Estadual de Goiás and the Liga Acadêmica de Pesquisas e Estudos do Desenvolvimento Infantil (LAPEDI) allowed free access to a wide audience, making the material accessible. It is conclued that the development of accessible educational materials strengthens the relationship between teaching and the commuty, promoting greater security and knowledge fo parents in caring for at-risk infants.
