Abstract

From the Psychiatric Reform (Act 10.2016/2001), therapeutic workshops emerge, which demarcate the need to reinvent the devices of care for subjects in suffering. Thinking about the power of these therapeutic spaces that seek to produce mental health care from new perspectives, the Body Expression Workshop for adolescents at CAPSi Saca Aí emerged, in the trajectory of a Professional Internship in Psychology. Thus, this cartography, presented as a Course Completion Work, seeks to discuss how body practices can provide mental health care for adolescents treated at a Child and Youth Psychosocial Care Center. Its proposal is to rescue dance, the body and art in the clinic and build passages for the invention and care of adolescents in psychological distress, with tools that exercise other narratives of themselves and their relationship with their body. Thus, this cartography seeks to elucidate new forms of therapeutic practice, given the few materials produced on this topic in the field of adolescence. The adolescents who make up the Body Expression Workshop participated in the research, with a total of seven female adolescents, aged between 12 and 17 years.
