O PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL ENTRE OS SUJEITOS DA MODERNIDADE NACIONAL E CULTURAS OBJETIFICADAS

Abstract

This paper discusses the relationship between the cultural heritage and the modernization metanarrative from the diagnosis which indicate the urgent problems related to this kind of time experience. The first part aim to support the hypothesis according to which the cultural heritage was born with the emergence of a modern time experience. Then, are presented some thoughts produced in the field of anthropology and art history in order to think about a possible own agency of the modern cultural heritages. Finally, the constitution of a historiography about the cultural heritage protection policies is approached in order to show some processes of subjects and objects of the Brazilian modernity through this heritage hybrids.
