El Patrimonio Cultural no es Huella de Identidad: Es Identidad Temporal
Cultural Heritage is not a Footprint of Identity: It is a Temporary Identity
Abstract
The work addresses the categories cultural heritage, cultural identity and temporality in their multiple relationships. These relationships are philosophical in nature as certain disquisitions are presented about their development in the course of time, temporality and culture. Temporality framed in historical periods is analyzed, where the context is the basis of the identity cultural protagonism and where the heritage practice nurtures its representations. Identity representations as abstractions from the material, from living contemplation, and not as representations of imagined representations where the concrete heritage does not exist.
