AS PÉROLAS DO NOVO NO PASSADO ESCOVADO: INTUIÇÕES GERAIS ACERCA DE UMA POSSÍVEL TEORIA DA HISTÓRIA EM HANNAH ARENDT
Abstract
Abstract: Is it possible to trace a Theory of History and Historiography within the scope of Hannah Arendt's work / thought? If so, and assuming the possible confluence in the field of social science - especially between the Hermeneutics and Science of History that underlies its intellectual work - what would be the distinguishing feature of its approach? This article aims to present certain intuitions about what would be an “Arendtian method” that can be conceived as a Theory of History / Historiography, especially in the context of the most current discussions about the craft, uses and practices of History (conceived as “Science-speech”).
Keywords: Hannah Arendt, Theory of History, Historiography.
