Objective: To identify the developmental profile of children in the first 24 months attending daycare centers. Method: Cross-sectional study. Nineteen infants attending daycare, of both genders, aged 10 to 24 months, were evaluated. neuropsychomotor development were assessed using the Developmental Surveillance Instrument of the Ministery of Health, contained in the Child Health Handbook (CHH). Stimulation opportunities in the home environment were measured through the Affordances in the Home Environment for Motor Development – Infant Scale (AHEMD-IS) questionnaire, and family economic status was determined using the questionnaire from the Brazilian Association of Research Companies. Results: Sixteen infants were classified with appropriate development, 1 with developmental alert, and 2 with probable developmental delay. Family socioeconomic status showed homogeneity among classes B1 (26.3%), B2 (26.3%), and C1 (26.3%). The majority of parents had completed high school. Regarding home opportunities, most were classified as excellent (n=7) and adequate (n=6). Conclusion: The profile of children attending daycare centers indicates age-appropriate neuropsycomotordevelopment, belonging to socioeconomic classes B1, B2, and C1, and receiving age-appropriate home opportunities.
