The Agrometeorology and Climate Analysis Laboratory of UEG – UnU in Palmeiras de Goiás (LAAC/UEG) plays an essential role in integrating science, education, and society. Through the continuous operation of its Conventional Basic Climatological Station, LAAC generates a historical series of reliable meteorological data, fundamental for regional studies and the validation of climate models. In addition to serving research, the station offers practical training to Agronomy students and contributes to the community through newsletters, bulletins, lectures, and educational visits. The addition of an Automatic Weather Station increases the accuracy and usefulness of the records. The laboratory's actions strengthen university outreach, promoting the social use of climate knowledge and especially assisting small rural producers. Thus, LAAC consolidates itself as a link between university and society, uniting research, teaching, and outreach in favor of regional sustainable development.
