Abstract

This study analyzed, through documentation and quantitative analysis, the extension activities developed by the Agronomy course at the State University of Goiás (UEG) — Palmeiras de Goiás Unit — from 2014 to 2024. A total of 132 activities were evaluated, involving 2,125 people, including faculty, students, technicians, and members of the external community. The results showed a predominance of the "extension project" modality (56%) and the area of Agricultural Sciences (50.7%). The most recurrent theme was "Environment," representing 32.6% of the activities. Continuous growth was observed until 2019, followed by a decrease in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and a recovery from 2022 onwards, reaching the highest number of activities in 2024. The research concludes that university extension in the Agronomy course strengthens the link between teaching, research, and society, promoting comprehensive education, sustainability, and a positive social impact in the region.
