P. Kropotkin strategies in epistemological struggle

The objective of this article is to understand the cultural context, trajectory and strategies that resulted in the establishment of P. Kropotkin as a renowned scientist and anarchist militant. For this, its letters and editorial strategy are analyzed. Adopting the perspective of P. Boudieu, we show that his social origins, militancy and intellectual work constituted a synergy, combined with his collaborative networks. It allowed Kropotkin to achieve international renown inside and outside the field of geography
